Breakthrough!

Issue #9: Breakthrough is available now.

imageWe’re pleased to announce that the European City of Heroes and Villains servers have been updated with Issue #9: Breakthrough, the latest free update from the Cryptic Studios development team.

Issue #9 introduces the Invention system, Consignment Markets, Statesman Task Force, newly evolved Hamidon encounter and more. You can view the full release notes on the official message boards or here in our Game Patches section. We also recommend that all players take a look at the current Known Issues list.

You can find out more about Issue #9 in the Feature Updates in our Game Guide section, which includes an overview of the new features, and detailed looks at the Statesman Task Force and the evolution of Hamidon.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who helped us with the testing of Issue #9 on the European Training Room over the past few weeks. Your time and dedication were vital in finding and fixing bugs and helping to make Issue #9 such an exciting new addition to City of Heroes and Villains.

Damn you! I love and hate you all!!! :(

Reactivating my account at the worst possible time for this free weekend, and bringing the biggest temptation for me NOT to study back in to my life.  downer

First in a series of exams on Tuesday.... study or play? Study or play? Study or play? I can play for 10 minutes, can’t I? Then get out, right? I only need a fix, and then I’m good. Honest!

Look forward to seeing what Breakthrough has to offer, so I can look forward to finishing my exams and getting back to this game.

Love the update but am feeling pretty much cheated as i FINALLY got a wings recipe only to find it disappeared when i came back to my toon...and to now nothing seems to be being done to resolve this matter for me!  :(

Black Amoeba: The ‘disappearing items’ problem that has affected some players on Union is our number one priority right now.
