Love is in the air again!

13 Feb, 2007

The Pocket D Jubilee starts today!

One year ago, on Valentine’s Day, DJ Zero relocated and re-launched the infamous Paragon Dance Party to great success. In fact, we had so much fun at last year’s event that we’ve decided to celebrate the First Anniversary of Pocket D’s opening by doing it all over again…

To encourage heroes and villains to work together once more, a brand new reward is on offer for those who complete the special event mission – a Valentine’s heart pattern costume set.

So put your differences aside and head to Pocket D where you can join Ganymede, Emissary of Eros, as he harnesses the passionate and powerful forces of love. But be warned, not everyone will be feeling affectionate - the dreaded redcap Snaptooth also returns to sour the mood!

Event Timing
Love is in the air from Tuesday, 13 February!

Start: Tuesday, 13 February at 11am GMT (12pm CET)
Finish: Sunday, 4 March at 11pm GMT (12am CET)

Pocket D is an interdimensional nightclub run by the mysterious DJ Zero. Heroes can enter from Kings Row, Faultline, Talos Island and Founder’s Falls, while villains can make use of the entrances in Port Oakes, Sharkhead Isle and St. Martial.

So, I am hyped about the new costume. Any chance of getting the toga for those of us who missed it?

The toga costume is one of the available rewards for completing the Snaptooth mission in Pocket D!

Very much enjoyed the valentine missions. Lots of fun and another chance to team villain and hero together. I was wondering if there are any plans to allow hero/villain missions be avaliable on a more often? To some people this game is a PvE game and have no interest in PvP. And thus for them making the whole villain v heroes thing abit redundant. To them they are all just arcetypes in the same game and I thought it would be enjoyable to be able to team them up more often.

I have 3 things to say:

1)If we get a level 50 villain and we have city of heroes too does the villain unlock the epic archetypes for on city of heroes?

2)If we create a costume piece from wentworths/black market do we unlock them for the character or available for newly made characters after we have made the piece?

3)Why does the black market truck look like the original Optimus Prime?
