‘Create an Ad’ competition winners

We saw scribbles, we saw scrawls, but only one concept could win the coveted prizes on offer…

You may recall a couple of weeks ago our Marketing team was snatched by some unknown and thoroughly evil force. This left us in a difficult situation, we had an advert booked to appear in the January edition of games™ and no-one to make it happen. At least, that was until you lot donned your creative hats and stepped up to the challenge of our ‘Create an Ad’ competition...

After poring over the entries and applying some rigorous creative analysis, the chin-stroking was over and a clear winner emerged from the towering stack before us. Congratulations go to Mother’s Love, whose winning concept was clearly a labour of love, the results of which can be seen here (click to enlarge). A version of this highly crafted piece of work will be appearing in the January edition of games™, don’t miss it!

... “but what about the Honourable Mentions" we hear you cry, well it’s funny you should mention that…

Hot on the heels of our winner were five other budding creative buffs, congratulations and Honourable Mentions go to Avernal, Hellwolve (c/o silent_knight), John Fogarty, Matthew Morris and Steven Parks for their sterling efforts in all things conceptual. Feast your eyes on their handy work…

I really want to get this game and city of villains too! and on my EMAIL send me all of the information on city of villains and city of heros possible!

This is a beautiful result in so many ways.  The ad is stunning.  The winner is one of the nicest people in the community.  I’ve teamed with Mother’s Love a number of times and it’s always been an uplifting experience.  Any time you see a post from Mother’s Love on the forums you know it’s going to be polite, intelligent and human.

This is great!  Huge congratulations!

all of these are sweet, i first looked at the big version of the winner at school, all the people crowded round me asking if i made it, lol, obviously i said no, i could never produce something that good…

chhh i dont see how these adds are going to do what they intended to do (increase player base) seems most of the ppl who will look at it already own the game.
(awesome add tho mothers love)
