Fly high with Issue #8!

Learn more about Veteran Rewards.

As revealed in our first Issue #8 Feature Update, the next free content update for City of Heroes and Villains will introduce our Veteran Rewards program. We can now reveal more information about this exciting new system, which will reward our loyal players for the time they’ve spent subscribed with badges, powers, costume items and more… Including the long-awaited wings!

To find out more about the Veteran Rewards program, check out our latest Feature Update for an overview of how the system will work and a handy FAQ to answer any questions you may have. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be bringing you more details of the specific rewards that will be available.

If you want more wings, you should also take a look at our Media section, where you can download a Wings trailer from the Movies page or adorn your desktop with a new wings-themed addition to our Wallpapers page.

And don’t forget to take a look at the City of Villains site for some less heroic wallpapers and screenshots!

hi im just wondering about the vetran rewards it says if u been here from the beging which was 4 fed does it matter if you were a few weeks from the start did will you get all rewards? becuase since it for every 3 month then a assume it goes by months an not dates

infurnus: As far as I know, the video just requires Flash to view. If it won’t play when you click on it, you can always download the higher resolution Quicktime version from the Movies page.

lee: For every three months your account has been active, you’ll recieve a Veteran Reward. How many of them you’ll get ‘backdated’ when the system goes live will depend on when you subscribed and the date the system launches.

Dale Arnold: As far as I know, Veteran Rewards will be available from Level 1. I’ll check to be sure.

You can only get demon wings and angel/bird wings but on the forum they will be butterfly wings and someothers comeing soon!

First off, you can get wings at level 1, if you’ve had your account for over 15 months. Noone actually knows how long they’ve had their account until the official vetrens rewards program comes out to tally up the months. You can get wings at level 1!

The Lollipop: Wings are available from Level 1, once your account has qualified for them (subscribed for 15 months or more).
