On Wednesday 12 April at 7pm BST (UK time), DJ Zero will be hosting the first Rock, Paper, Scissors Open Tournament at Pocket D on all four European City of Heroes and Villains servers!

Open to heroes and villains of all Security and Threat Levels, the RPS Open will see 64 players on each server pitted against each other in a tense battle for supremacy with only three weapons at their disposal:

Rock – impervious to any blade!
Paper – flexible and able to absorb mighty blows!
Scissors – honed to a deadly edge!

On each server, the winner will earn a unique in-game title, some goodies, and the right to face Rockjaw, Bridger, Amboss or Midoh in a final showdown!

How it works

Head over to the sign-up threads in the Announcements section of each of the Official Message Boards. Anyone interested in taking part in the RPS Open should post the name of the character they wish to enter to the thread for their server:

The first 64 characters registered will earn a place in the tournament (don’t worry if you miss out – if this goes well, we’ll hold more), and should make sure to be at Paragon Dance Party on the appropriate server by 7pm BST (UK time) on Wednesday 12 April, where one of the European Community Team will organise and run a straight knock-out tournament to determine that server’s first RPS Open Champion!

Then, the champion will face off against their server’s Grand Master…
