It’s life, Jim, but not as we know it!

15 Dec, 2004

imageThe official US site has a nifty video showing off the new Kheldian characters that will be added in Issue #3: A Council of War. The Kheldians are energy beings from a distant galaxy, divided by an ancient internal feud.

They’re also the first of the Epic Archetypes, a new class of Archetype that can only be unlocked by playing the game - in the case of Kheldians, by reaching Security Level 50 with a normal character - and come in two distinct types, Peacebringers and Warshades.

You can read more and download the video here.

A Nice Kheldian video just came to my attention today. They really look amazing! I hope we can test them somehow!

this is more of a qustion, i just bought city og heroes, and being a comic nerd, i’m obsessed. I have not set up city of heroes yet but i’m planning on it. back to the qustion i want to have my charecter be a scrapper. (that was part one) when he gets to level 50 can he still be a peacebringer? And can he still fight well and have energy blasts like the peacebringers. oh and what is the statesman’s archetype?

Wizzle: Getting a hero to Level 50 unlocks the Kheldian Archetypes - your Scrapper won’t become a Peacebringer, but you’ll be able to start new characters as Peacebringers or Warshades.

Statesman (and Lord Recluse) are Incarnates, which are not yet available as a player Archetype - but should be added at some point in the future.
